Rohan Skill Development Centre was inaugurated in May’2022 with 12 students in 2 trades Masonry & BarBending
The main objective of the project is to provide skill development training to construction workers, empowering them with essential skills and knowledge for their professional growth. The program aims to improve their employability and facilitate job placements.
The primary goal of the initiative is to provide comprehensive skill development training to unskilled workers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge in construction trades. The objective is to enhance their employability and enable them to secure better job opportunities in the construction industry.
RSDC aims to achieve the following objectives:
- The initiative aims to empower individuals from the underprivileged section of society by offering them access to quality education and training. By providing skill development opportunities, the centre helps in breaking the cycle of poverty and contributes to the economic upliftment of the students and their families.
- The objective of the skill development centre is to ensure that every student successfully completes the training program and secures employment in the construction industry. The initiative strives to build strong connections with construction companies, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate job placements for trained individuals.
- The centre aims to promote social inclusion by offering opportunities to individuals who have limited resources and belong to economically weaker sections of society. By providing access to education and skills training, the initiative helps in bridging the socio-economic gap and providing equal opportunities for personal growth and development.
- Apart from technical skills, the centre focuses on the overall development of the students. The objective is to provide a conducive learning environment that fosters personal growth, communication skills, teamwork, and professionalism. By nurturing well-rounded individuals, the initiative aims to enhance their long-term employability and personal success.
- The initiative intends to contribute to sustainable livelihoods by providing training in construction trades, which have a high demand in the market.
